Champion Photo covered all the action with three photographers at the first annual HASLAW Manchester Mile and 5k on Bridge Street. This Millennium Running event attracted some of the fastest names around in a hunt for a record fast mile and thousands of dollars in prize money. This has been a great year for running and we have enjoyed covering all the action from some of the best races in the area.

Runner's Alley and Red Hook 5k Winner

Excellent day for the 14th annual Runner’s Alley and Red Hook Memorial 5K Race! The weather was great and the turnout for this great cause was awesome. Almost 1900 participants crossed the finish line to benefit the Krempels Center. This was the second race in the seacoast road race series and filled up so fast that registration was full before race day. The morning was kicked off with a kids fun run with four different age classes making their way around the grassy course. Runners of legal drinking age were treated to a complimentary Red Hook and food after the race.

Many thanks to the great photographers that helped me capture all of the great shots Sunday! Debbie Tharp and Christine Pribyl, thank you very much, I could not have done it without you. Together we captured over 2,000 images of the race and activities of the day.
