First of all thank you for visiting our site, and for your interest in our services.
I am happier now than I have been at any other point in my life, I am
grateful for a loving wife, proud of 4 amazing kids, and enthusiastic about life.
My favorite thing about photography is that it is a never ending source of challenges, and if practiced with that in mind it can provide continued interest. By continuing to develop my knowledge with experimentation and exploration in the craft it keeps my heart and mind involved, and my images fresh.
I consider myself a people photographer, I love photography as a whole, and experiment with other forms on a personal level, but focus my professional images on people. When a picture has a person in it, establishing a connection with the viewer is easier, the tricky part is making a picture that goes beyond that connection and provides the viewer with a feeling of who the person in the picture is. That’s what I strive to do in all of my pictures, develop an emotional connection between the viewer and the image. I want to create images that draw the viewer into them, images that are not so easy to turn away from or “click through.”

Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
First let me start by saying that I am a wife, married to Keith, and mother (step mom) to four wonderful children; Jordan, age 11, Jonathan age 9; Michael, age 11, and Elisabeth age 9. I work full time as a Library Media assistant at Windham High School. I am currently in a masters degree program at Plymouth State College.
For as long as I can remember, photography has been a part of my life. As a child I started with a 110 film camera and worked my way to 35mm. I always enjoyed taking photos of nature, my family and anything that interested me and always seemed to have a camera with me wherever I went. I switched to digital photography when the technology changed and have never looked back. Digital photography is a lot more fun than film, I can take as many photos as I want, whenever I want, and share them with my family and friends.
I love to take photos of my family, especially my children, and the world around me. Being a part of both Orchard Point Studios and Champion Photo has allowed me to expand on my hobby and share my photos with a larger audience. I experiment and learn new things about photography often, and I still have so much more to learn. I hope that you enjoy our photos as much as we do.

I have been happily married to my husband, Eric, for 15 years. We have four beautiful children whom I have the privilege of homeschooling.
A photo album of pictures I took when I was around five or six years old is among the hundreds of photos that mark my lifelong interest in photography from before I was even aware of the art. Throughout middle school and high school I often had some kind of small camera with me anytime I was with friends. After getting married, I was introduced to a Canon SLR and attended photography classes at a community college. I loved shooting in manual mode and learning how and why the different settings and lenses work the way they do. Once kids started arriving, I would go through a couple rolls of film each week.
I spent several years experimenting with digital cameras and in 2009 I upgraded my equipment and started shooting with Champion Photo. The challenge of using manual settings is still enjoyable, and I am constantly trying to absorb and learn new things. My favorite subjects are kids, babies and nature close-ups. While shooting gymnastics, I get excited every time I capture a great moment that makes the gymnast shine. Every gymnast has that moment, my goal is to see anticipate it and catch it. Shooting with Champion Photo has been an enormous blessing to me and I owe much of my ability to the training that Keith has provided. I hope you enjoy seeing our photos as much as we enjoy taking them.
