Sunday August 29, 2010 was the annual Mack’s Apples 5k Cross Country Race through Moose Hill Orchards in Londonderry, NH. This race is sponsored by the Greater Derry Track Club and is a great event. 128 Runners braved the high temperatures and thick humidity to enjoy this years Mack’s Run for the Apples. The course circled two of the large orchards and spanned between them via walking trails through the woods. The well maintained trails still offered a challenge to the runners with narrow sections and exposed roots. Congratulations to all of the athletes that competed in this years race.
